How many t-shirts should we order? (Minimum & optimal quantity)

When companies need to order printed t-shirts, the question often arises: how many should you order?

At Printbyorder, we recommend productions starting from a minimum of 50 units, as this provides a better price and a more professional result. However, we are happy to provide quotes for 20 - 49 t-shirts/units.

Why 50 units?

For smaller quantities, the price per unit becomes higher, and some printing methods like screen print are not optimal.

Advantages of larger quantities:
- Lower price per unit
- Uniform quality
- Better durability

When do fewer make sense?

Smaller quantities can be relevant for:
- Test production
- Samples
- Small brands

What is the optimal quantity?

For companies and events, 50–200 units is typically the most optimal.

For larger events, it may make sense to produce even more.
